Privacy Notice

We collect only the personal data you choose to give us when you contact the firm. This typically includes:

• Your name and preferred form of address.
• Contact details such as your mobile number, WhatsApp number and email address.
• The details of your enquiry, including facts about your matter that you decide to share with us.
• Any documents you send to us voluntarily in relation to your enquiry.

This website does not host a contact form or a customer account system. Enquiries reach us through WhatsApp, telephone or email, and the data we hold is the data contained in those messages.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website — for example which pages are read and which device is used. Analytics data is collected in aggregated form and is not used by us to identify individual visitors. You may block analytics cookies through your browser settings.

• To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we are able to act for you.
• To carry out conflict-of-interest and client-identification checks before accepting instructions.
• To provide legal services and to communicate with you about your matter.
• To comply with our professional, statutory and regulatory obligations, including those of the Malaysian Bar and the Legal Profession Act 1976.
• To keep proper accounting and file records.

Information you give us in the course of a solicitor–client relationship is confidential and privileged. We do not sell or trade personal data. We may disclose personal data only:

• To persons you authorise us to deal with on your behalf.
• To courts, tribunals, opposing parties, counsel, experts or agents where this is necessary to conduct your matter on your instructions.
• To regulators, enforcement agencies or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by Malaysian law or a court order.
• To service providers who support the firm's operations, subject to confidentiality obligations.

We retain files and personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, and thereafter for the period required by our professional obligations and applicable Malaysian law. Data no longer required is securely destroyed.

We take reasonable practical steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No transmission over the internet or a messaging application can be guaranteed to be completely secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive material through unsecured channels until we have confirmed the arrangements for doing so.

Subject to the exceptions in the PDPA, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or outdated data, limit the processing of your data, or withdraw a consent you have given. Certain requests may prevent us from continuing to act for you, and some data must be retained where the law or our professional duties require it.
